Lady of Derbys

I have been walking on this earth since thousand years
From the coast of Ceylon, in the dark night
To the river Thames, I have run in despair
In Athens – the pale blurred world of king Theseus
Far in the dark city of Bimbishar of king Ashok, I was there
I am a wearied soul, sea of lives foaming all around,
She - Lady of Derbys, gave me peace for a while

Her hairs as if dark night of Babylon of by gone days
Her face as crafted of Aphrodite
Far in the deep sea the sailor who lost
His direction with the broken haul
And suddenly saw the lush green land
In the island of cinnamon
I saw her in the dark, same way
She asked me, ‘where had you been so long?’
Raising her eyes, she Lady of Derbys - nest of bird

At the end of whole day,
Appears night like sound of dew
Hawk wipes out aroma of sun from her wings
When all colors of earth are doused
All birds come back home
When all longing disappear in the river of life
Night glitters with the color of fire flies
Remains only dark for, to sit face to face with her
Strings of mind hum peace of note and
The script remains white with untold story
